Adam Devine — currently filming Game Over, Man in Vancouver — hosts tonight’s gender-neutral MTV Movie & TV Awards in Los Angeles.
New teen classic The Edge of Seventeen is up for Best Movie along with blockbusters Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Beauty and the Beast, Logan and Get Out. And its star Hailee Steinfeld is nominated for Best Actor in a Movie.
Filmed in Vancouver, The Edge of Seventeen with Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson, is about a 17-year-old Nadine, a smart-ass kid whose life spirals out of control when her BFF Krista (Haley Lu Richardson) starts dating Nadine’s brother Darian (Blake Jenner).
Plus Arrow’s Stephen Amell and The Flash’s Grant Gustin are up for Best Hero along with Rogue One’s Felicity Jones, Luke Cage’s Mike Colter, Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown and Hidden Figures Taraji P. Henson.
